Thanks to the generosity of a local businessman we were granted use of an empty shop to sell items donated by the public. Sales raised almost £1500.

LION GEOFF’S ANNUAL “GUESS THE WEIGHT OF THE PUMPKIN” EVENT
From 28th - 30th October 2010, Retford Morrison’s Supermarket customers will be invited to guess the weight of Lion Geoff’s prizewinning pumpkin to raise funds to provide help to those in need in our local community. We are grateful to Morrisons for, once again, supporting this annual event.
It grows from a baby (left) to a giant (right) - hopefully, if the heavy rain hasn’t drowned it.
